Road to Collegiate Riding
Happy
New Year! We have a new addition to Collegiate Glamour, and our pursuit to provide collegiate fans with new ways of showing
their pride – a new blog geared for riders who are pursuing riding in college. We are calling all riders – English
(hunter/jumper and dressage), Western, and Polo to take part in this new
journey to help promote riding and each other!

Did
you know that there are vibrant riding programs all over the continental
U.S.A.? Programs are opening up at
colleges and universities consistently every year with hardworking folks behind
the wheel. The *Department of Education
estimates that there are over 6,700 colleges and universities (two year and
four year) in the US. So more than likely you have a college or
university near to you or in a day’s drive, and you might be pleasantly
surprised that they have a riding program.
For
all those folks that are already a part of a riding program. How did you discover your school, and what
made you take the leap?!
